One Year On 1

One Year On....

A year ago this week the girls, cats,1500 dolls and I moved to our present home. As many of you know it was a long time coming and not without the odd fraught moment! For those of you that do not know the story it went like this......

I live in England in a housing association home (used to be council housing but was brought out) Anyway I had a nice enough two bedroom house with a downstairs bathroom. As I have two girls with special needs it was decided that I needed a three bedroom home so I went onto the waiting list! The trouble with this was I was unable to make any plans, could not redecorate or go on holiday in case a house came up! Anyway trying to keep this short the rules changed and you could now 'bid' on properties of interest. There was a points system and the bidder with the highest points got the property.

I had quite a lot of points so was soon at the top of the list when this house came up! It was outside of the area I wanted to move to but thought I would go have a look! It was/is quite big with a massive garden in a small village. We all loved it! I thought I would have no chance but put in my bid anyway (after all I had nothing to lose) well, obversely I got it and we have now been here for a year.
