Suwi's Place

Today Lindsey wakes up early.... IT'S
HALLOWEEN!!!! Tonight it's PARTY time.... She is so looking forward to it.
All Lindey's friends will be there AND Gavin, the
hopefully one day love of Lindey's life..... Deep
down she just knows it will be perfect!
Already you can hear the caterers bustling around downstairs in the kitchen.


In minutes Lindsey is up and dressed. Bounding
down stairs...


she tries to see what's going on but is shooed
away by the party planner! DAMN!!!
Then her cell phone starts to bleep
"Hi, yes.... I know.... OK.... see you tonight!" (Humm...wonder who that was?)
OK! Lindsey thinks - so if I can't do anything
around here, I might as well go out and get some
breakfast! Oh, and I might do a little shopping too!


As Lindsey reverses out of the drive, a black cat
shoots out making her brake sharply! 'I hope
that's a lucky black cat? Are black cats lucky or
unlucky if they cross your path?'


The cat is soon forgotten as the day continues.
At Lindsey's favorite cafe, the waitress ALMOST
drops a glass of milk all over her, but she moves just in time!


Then as she is walking down the road - BANG a fender bender not 2 feet away!


Looking in a jewelers window Lindsey see's the
most exquisite bracelet, perfect for tonight. She
enters the shop and is almost knocked to the
ground, turning she see's the guy jump onto the
back of a waiting motorbike and roar off. Lindsey
turns back to the store and see's a sale person
holding their head "WE'VE BEEN ROBBED CALL THE POLICE"


An hour later, having told the police all she can
about what she witnessed, Lindsey leaves making
her way back to her car, having had enough excitement for one morning!


  Back home things are just as chaotic!
The party planner is tearing her hair out!
The gas cylinder has run out of helium half way
through blowing up the balloons.
The Lafite Rothschild - 1995 at £725 ($1889) a bottle has gone missing?????
The chef has food poisoning!


Lindsey thinks this might be a good time to leave
the chaos to the party planner, as there's
nothing she can do, and just hope the party
planner can sort things out in time!
Lindsey runs the shower but discovers .... no hot water!
About to burst into tears the phone rings....
It's Gavin! Instantly sensing Lindsey's distress
Gavin offers to come round. She tells him what's
happened and Gavin then suggests Lindsey comes to his home to get ready!!!!
She jumps at the chance


Soon Lindsey arrives at Gavin's home. BANG her
foot slips, and instead of hitting the brake she
hits the gas trashing Gavin's trash can and
narrowly missing his vintage Jaguar!
"I'm so sorry! So very, very sorry!" Lindsey is
devastated at what she has just done!"


But Gavin just laughs and hugs her, then kissing her gently on the lips.


As they walk up the path, a black cat shoots out
and crosses Lindsey's path. "Oh, what is it with black cats today?" she sighs.


"Sorry, what did you say?" Gavin asks looking deep into Lindsey's eyes
"Nothing.... absolutely nothing!"


So was the Black Cat good luck..... or bad?
