Suwi's Place

Already you can hear the caterers bustling around downstairs in the kitchen.

In minutes Annie is up and dressed. Bounding downstairs she tries to see what’s going on but is shooed away by the party planer! DAMN!!!

Then her cell phone starts to bleep

“Hi, yes.... I know.... OK.... see you tonight!” (Humm...wonder who that was?)

OK! Annie thinks so if I can’t do anything around here I might as well go out and get some breakfast, oh and I might do a little shopping too? As she reverses out of the drive a black cat shoots out making Annie brake sharply! ‘I hope that’s a lucky black cat? Are black cats lucky or unlucky if they cross your path?’

The cat is soon forgotten as the day continues. At a favorite cafe the waitress ALMOST drops a glass of  milk all over Annie but she moves just in time!

Then as Annie is walking down the road BANG a fender bender not 2 feet away! 

Looking in a jewelers window Annie see’s the most exquisite bracelet perfect for tonight. She enters the shop and is almost knocked to the ground, turning Annie see’s the guy jump onto the back of a waiting motorbike and roar off. 

Annie turns back to the store and see’s a sale person holding their head “WE’VE BEEN ROBBED CALL THE POLICE”

An hour later having told the police all she can about what she witnessed, Annie leaves making her way back to her car having had enough excitement for one morning!

Back home things are just as chaotic! The party planer is tearing there hair out, the gas cylinder has run out of air half way through blowing up the balloons,

the Lafite Rothschild - 1995 at £725 ($1889) a bottle has gone missing?????

The chef has food poisoning...”Annie thinks this might be a good time to leave the chaos to the party planner as there’s nothing they can do and just hope the party planner can sort things out in time!

Annie runs the shower but discovers .... no hot water! About to burst into tears the phone rings.... Ring! Ring!

It’s Zack! Instantly sensing Annie’s distress Zack offers to come round. Annie tells him what’s happened and he then suggests she comes to his home to get ready!!!! Annie jumps at the chance.

Soon Annie arrives at Zack’s home. BANG! Annie’s foot slips and instead of hitting the brake she hits the gas trashing Zack’s trash can and narrowly missing his vintage Jaguar! “I’m so sorry! So very, very sorry!” Annie is devastated at what she has just done!”

But Zack just laughs and hugs Annie, kissing her gently on the lips.

As they walk up the path a black cat shoots out and crosses Annie’s path.

“Oh, what is it with black cats today?” Annie sighs

“Sorry, what did you say?” Zack asks looking deep into Annie’s eyes

“Nothing....  absolutely nothing!”

So was the Black Cat good luck..... or bad?
